Just a quick note

Ok so I just wanted to put up a little post here today for one thing I need to vent a little and I also want to share how things have been going.

So since my weigh in last Thursday I have been doing ok other than me weigh in night my whole family went out for dinner and we went to a buffet I was doing really good to start with but I ended up eating something that was very salty and didn't mean too but after that it was like all bets were off and I even went to the goodie table and I know I should have went the other way but hell it was a buffet. So I counted that night as a right off. Then came Halloween weekend oooo spooky I know, but I did so good I only had good OP food and I never even looked twice at all the candy. Even till today I still have not had even 1 and for me that's huge news. But all in all I am back to eating only proper OP food and I am feeling good and I am already back in ketosis and happy about that.

Ok so let me get to me little venting. So I hate it when you tell a friend that you are on a new healthy life style change and they have to either put it down or ask a million questions. I got both today I told a friend and she would not stop asking me what I am doing until I told her. So I said it's something called the Dr. Poon plan and she had this look on her face like I was about to kill my self, and then she was like OmG why would you do that to your self???? Before I even had a chance to answer she went on to say I know soooo many people at my work who are on it and they are like 5 times the size of you and they say it's crazy hard and they have gained everything back after stopping. She then said I would never do any diet where they tell you fruit is bad for you.

Ok so first off I have had anyone tell me fruit is bad for me I was told just to not have it on phase 1 to help clean my system.
two who said  I was on a diet? Not me I said I am doing a new healthy life style because I fully know that when i reach my goal and trust me I will I am not about to go back to my old ways or yes I will gain it all back I expect to do this for the long road and along the way learn tips on how to add in new items along the way. We just have to face it we were not meant to eat the way we used to eat and I never plan on going back. I am not saying I am never gong to have junk food ever again but if and when I do I will be able to make better choices and I will make sure not to eat the whole pack of what ever it is. :)

  1. I know exactly what you are talking about in your vent. I have tried different weight-loss programs in the past, but have always gained the weight back. That is because I began eating the same way I was. I have had to look at this diet (I'm on Dr. Poon too) as a lifestyle change, meaning that I'm going to have to limit carbs and sugar for the rest of my life. You're doing awesome. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise:)
