Phase One on Dr. Poon

Well this has been a heck of a week (well a little over a week) and I have had my ups and downs. The one good thing is I have not been hungry like I thought I was going to be I can eat as much as I need to in order to be full as long as I am eating the right thing.
One problem I am having is have to cook "old food" for the rest of my family and then me eating something very different, that has been hard. For example the kids wanted french fry's/onion rings and burgers so I had to make that for them the other day and it just smelt so yummy to me, I just wanted to eat one. But I knew in my heart if I ate one I would not be able to stop there so I held my self back and made my self a salad.
Then it happened again on Saturday we had spent most of the day out and I woke up late to start off with and didn't get to eat my usual egg white omelet, we had to leave as soon as I got up. Then after getting everything done of course the kids and my Hubby were all hungry and wanted a old family fave Burger King so off we went and they all got there usual and we went home. As they were all sitting around the table eating I was in the kitchen making my dinner and by the way I was starving by then. It took all my will power not to sneak over to the table and eat a few fry's but I didn't.
I am very proud of my self because since I have started this weight loss journey I have not cheated even one time. :) (**pats self on back **) By now on almost every other thing I have tried I would have given up and cheated once or twice. This just tells me that I am in this for the long haul and I can do it.
So I guess you can say I have grown a little this week and for me that's huge, little by little I am going to be able to do this and I will be happy with my self again because I did it for my self.
So I have 4 days left until I have reached my official 2 week mark and my first weigh in ever on this plan I'm doing good and can't wait to get my print out from the Dr. I will say I am happy to have a way to gauge if I am doing well or not with the ketone strips it has been helping me for example this past week at the start of the week the strips were very purple and then they went back to white I found out I was not eating enough or drinking enough water so I love my strips they are a great help.

Any way I'll post again in 4 days with my great results **fingers crossed**
